Politics is the most interesting topic (here I'm talking about real politics i.e., we'll elect our Netas as MPs, MLAs, etc, not the work environment related). Our Netas (or other similar kind of people) frequently follows the fact 'Divide and Rule'. This division may be based on religion, caste (upper or lower), sub-caste, region or area, language, power (Government versus Opposition), money, etc.

***********************************************************************
The following instances may be true for some people or politicians, not all.

Politicians distribute money, liquor, etc. ---> people  ---> politicians will come to power.

People (normal public, industrialists, liquor syndicates, other mafia, etc) give money or in the name of party fund for their work or licenses ---> politicians
Note: Sometimes foreign companies or countries offer bribe or gifts for permissions  ---> politicians.

Politicians dissolve public sector companies (through various GOs, laws, rules, etc) by taking bribe in possible ways.  Some of the politicians might have ownership or partnership in these private companies.

Politicians transfer money (through various channels) to foreign countries   ---> will invest in Indian companies or share market.

Politicians put up new businesses, new parties, etc to earn money (or other things).

Governments (central or state) will increase the taxes (on most of the things, it'll effect on most of the people). Again will introduce various schemes to people [no need to say for votes], In these schemes some (most) amount will be eaten. Some of the schemes might convert to scams!!!

Government increases the interest rates on FDs, and at the same time increases the interest rates on loans (Personal, Home, etc)!!! One day suddenly they say inflation increased.

Again the politicians distribute money, liquor, etc during elections.

Cycling process!!! What a business!!!

Some politicians (people) will have differences only based on MONEY irrespective of other differences (of course when they speak in media they may tell various reasons such as one person scolded another person based on religion, caste, etc). Fortunately our Netas didn't introduce currency based on the "-isms" (religion, caste, area, language, etc).

There is an old saying, ''Yatha raja tatha praja''. It means to say leaders inspire people. If the people are inspired by these kind of leaders, then its difficult to imagine what will happen to a State or to a Country. Peoples' thinking may change because of the some of the politicians' actions. Now a days if bad thing or issue done by some (more than one) people, then it's becoming the good thing or it is shown as good way for others.

Why a person or organization give money to us without any profit (except charities, NGOs, even some Government schemes, etc)? In normal scenarios even if we want to give Rs.100/-, will think many times. Now a days our political parties are offering many free (TVs, Refrigerators, Mixers, rice cookers, fans, etc) things, and they are making people dependent on them as much as possible (no need to say for 'votes') instead of making the people to stand on their own!!

Our system is complex and its maintenance is very complex, there is loop whole in every sub-system such as Passport offices, MRO offices, Corporations, Railways, Ministries, etc. Some people not willing to work if they didn't receive bribe for their responsibilities or duties, they are working for free. After some time, our Netas might make the bribe officially. On the 'Aadhar card' it's clearly mentioned 'It is only for identity, not for the citizenship'. Why? Probably to save the illegal migrants from the other (especially boarder or neighbor) countries for vote bank politics.

What we have to done to increase the accountability or responsibility in the people? Any law to be made? How many Laws we have, how many we know, how many we are following!!!

I've seen one TeleVision program and in this one person suggested three rules (which change the current politics up to some extent) should be made:

       a) Every citizen must use their vote. The voting percentage is lesser in our India when compared to other (some) developed countries.  Law should be made that every citizen to be participated in  elections. If a person didn't vote, then all the Government's schemes should be stopped. Not sure whether our politicians bring any law for this, even though they brought this law also will be screwed by putting various conditions.

       b) Elections should be conducted only for every 5 years; instead of re-elections or by-elections in five year tenure. Now a days if an MLA/MP resigns or dies or jumps to another party, elections are conducting again and again in a given five year tenure thereby unnecessary work/expenses to the administration. In these circumstances, that constituency should be under Governor's / President's rule.

       c) Election campaign to be banned as most of the candidates spent money (for liquor, distributing money to the people, etc). Later they come to power again these people loot money as we are seeing in the form of scams. No idea how much money looted, how much we come to know.

How to educate the masses (Especially those who are not aware of Internet, etc. Of course how many know and/or read, how many follow)? Nonetheless to say I'm also one of them!!!
